Finding my purpose

I haven't blogged in forever. I'm in the process of re-defining myself.  After working all my many years as a Hair Designer, I am now staying home with my boys and taking care of my family, along with doing all my creative things I do. I've recently stepped down from the 5 different areas of volunteer so that I can stay focused.
I know the first step in goal setting is to discover what you really want. AND write it down.
That's loaded I want so many things. focus focus

So I have so many ways I enjoy being be creative. I know that if I don't focus on just one thing at a time I am just spinning my wheels. I'm currently working on defining a painting so that others can see what i see. Sometimes I'm painting then all of a sudden I'm writing songs  in my head, then I'm drawn away to do a craft with my boys then help some families in need, then I need to work on a name for myself and where and how to network and how to put my art work up.  My husband is awesome to help keep me focused....( I'm venting)
I hope to stay on track. Decide my objective.  Then work on one thing till it's done, then only spend a small amount of time each day on networking/marketing. Most of my time still needs to go to my family. stay on target. I gotta keep reminding myself.   Next step soon to follow

Starting new Chairs

Artwork for chairs. (Finally posting by request) I'm starting some new ones similar to these. The theme I'm going with this time is 1 chair- King & 1 chair- Queen. I also need a small couch or bench to add at the foot of my bed. I haven't found the right couch to recover yet. Anyone wanna suggest for the colors on that one?? Royalty accent colors I was thinking. Any suggestions for future projects colors or themes I'm open.

Projects Projects.

Seems like my mind never stops creating. Even if I don't have time to create. AND especially when I AM creating. When I am writing 1 song, 3 + will result. When I am on 1 project I can't help but see the possibilities of new ones that could come from it. Blah Blah Blah. I'm not complaining. I just need to finish 1 before I begin a new one. Right David? I hear him saying it, all too often. Ha Ha! Wise Man!

Here are some recent projects I've started in the last couple weeks. Not all of them are complete yet.

The head board up to the left is not yet finished. Since this pic, I added more cushion, put Velcro on the back, made buttons with bling & need to add them on. Also I painted & decoupaged the flower on the wall.

These necklaces were made from bottle caps & other fun bling.



I've got a vanity I'm finishing, Wall decor..>etc.

Help a friend by using my blog

So obviously I don't use my blog very often. Yesterday my friends boyfriend had a fire and everything was lost. I am now setting up a donation button through Pay Pal to use on the site so I can help donate funds for him to get started all over. I am just trying to figure out how to do this. I know I don't have many people following me, so if anyone reads this, I would love the help. I just created the donation button, now all I have to do is put it on Blogger.
